Description
This training will address topics including but not limited to: the storage of Child Sexual Abuse Images and other evidence located on cell phones, computers and other electronic devices, how it is retrieved and typical defenses, updated information on getting ISP records and what is available from internet service providers – retention times, etc. Other topics will discuss the, use of technology in other crimes such as stalking/DV cases, cyber attacks and hacking. Lastly it will discuss digital currency and tracking the sources of funds, video technology – how to use in (or keep out of!) trial (ie. bank surveillance tapes, traffic cams etc.).
Who should attend?
Prosecutors (at all levels) and defense attorneys, and civil litigators. While this program is primarily geared towards prosecutors and defense attorneys, it could also be helpful for civil litigators who utilize this type of evidence in their cases.
