This meeting will be held as a lunch hour on Business Valuations with Attorney Rick Maloney. This meeting will cover the following topics, what is a business appraisal, why get a business appraisal, process of a business appraisal, appraisal theory, documents needed, and reports. This meeting will take place virtually and a link will be sent in a confirmation email prior to the program.

Attorney Richard J. Maloney Maloney & Kennedy PLLC

Richard J. Maloney, Esq. is a member of Maloney & Kennedy, PLLC, Certified Public Accountants in Auburn, NH. His practice focuses on tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners and business valuations and litigation support. Rick is a CPA and an attorney, and holds degrees from St. Michael’s College, Albany Law School and SUNY at Albany School of Business. He has served as chair of the Tax Committee of the New Hampshire Society of CPAs and as a member of the S Corporation Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the NHBA’s Family Law and Taxation Law (past chair) Sections. Prior to starting his own firm, Rick worked for two international accounting firms and practiced with a law firm. He is a former treasurer of the Business & Industry Association and New Hampshire Public Television. Rick is currently treasurer of Girls, Inc. of New Hampshire. 11/21
