Speakers

Attorney Joel Oster

Joel Oster, Comedian at Law, is not only a seasoned constitutional attorney, but one of the legal industry's most sought-after speakers. By combining a keen sense of humor with real world legal experience, he is able to provide memorable and relevant presentations. Oster regularly litigates First Amendment issues. He represented the town of Greece, New York in the landmark constitutional case Galloway v. Greece. As lead counsel in Freedom from Religion Foundation v. Obama, he skillfully defended the constitutionality of the National Day of Prayer against an Establishment Clause challenge. He has also defended various churches, individuals, corporations, and political committees against discriminatory and unconstitutional regulations. Oster earned his J.D. in 1997 from the University of Kansas School of Law. He is admitted to the bar in Kansas, Missouri, Florida, and numerous federal courts.
