Virtual Circuit Court Update

Hon. David D. King has served as the deputy administrative judge of the NH Circuit Court since it began operations in July 2011.  He had previously served as the administrative judge of the New Hampshire Probate Court beginning in January 2007, and had been the presiding judge in the Coos County Probate Court since his appointment in January, 1990.  Prior to becoming a full time judge in 2007, he was a partner in the law firm of Waystack & King in Colebrook for 22 years.  Judge King is a 1981 graduate of Plymouth State College and received his J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center (now UNH School of Law) in 1984.  He previously served two terms on the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Board of Governors and is a past president of the Coos County Bar Association.  Judge King is a former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and was a delegate to the 17th Constitutional Convention in 1984.  He has served on a number of non-profit boards, including 23 years on the Board of Directors of the Upper Valley Connecticut Hospital. In 2000 he was named Outstanding Hospital Trustee of the Year by the NH Hospital Association, and in 2005 he was awarded the Vickie M. Bunnell Award for Community Service by the New Hampshire Bar Association. 4/17 TL
