Description
How do we prepare the next generation of lawyers not simply to enter the profession, but to thrive in it? Counsel for the Future brings together leaders from the bench, bar, law schools, and legal education for a forward-looking conversation about practice readiness, meaningful mentorship, experiential learning, and the professional development of future lawyers. Through focused presentations, interactive breakout discussions, and collaborative dialogue, participants will examine where legal education and the profession are succeeding, and how law schools, practicing lawyers, judges, and the organized bar can work together. The day culminates in a discussion of practical takeaways and next steps, moving beyond identifying challenges to exploring how we can better train, mentor, support, and prepare the lawyers who will shape the profession's future.
