Attorney Natch Greyes Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire

Natch Greyes is the New Hampshire Municipal Association's Municipal Services Counsel in Concord, NH. In that role, he provides both legislative and legal services to NHMA’s member municipalities. Before joining NHMA, Natch was a prosecutor in northern Grafton County. He received his B.A from Clark University and his J.D. from William & Mary. Natch is a member of the NHBA’s Municipal & Governmental Law Section. 8/21

Attorney C. Christine Johnston Drummond Woodsum Attorneys At Law

C. Christine (Fillmore) Johnston is an attorney with Drummond Woodsum in Manchester, NH. She focuses her practice on municipal law, including but not limited to municipal governance and budgeting, property taxation, land use and environmental law, road law, enforcement matters, employment, local welfare, public safety, and New Hampshire's Right to Know Law. She is a graduate of Tufts University (1992) and Boston College Law School (1998). She is a member of the NHBA’s Municipal & Government Law Section and is admitted in NH and MA. She served on the national Board of Directors for the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation for five years and is a past President (and board member for 13 years) of the Capital Region Development Council. Over the past 19 years, Christine has been a speaker on municipal topics related planning and zoning for the New Hampshire Municipal Association and the NH Office of Planning and Development, and has written numerous articles and handbooks. In addition, she has presented at conferences for the NH Town Clerks' Association; NH Tax Collectors' Association; NH Association of Library Trustees; NH Association of Conservation Commissions; NH Building Officials; NH Health Officers' Association; and NH Welfare Administrators' Association. Together with her husband, Cordell A. Johnston, she is the co-editor of four volumes of the NH Practice Series on Local Government Law, Land Use Planning & Zoning and Municipal Taxation and Road Law. 8/24

Attorney Cordell A. Johnston Cordell A. Johnston Attorney at Law

Cordell Johnston has practiced law in New Hampshire for 40 years. After almost 20 years at Orr & Reno in Concord, he served as Government Affairs Counsel at the New Hampshire Municipal Association from 2004 to 2022, representing the interests of New Hampshire’s towns and cities before the state legislature. Since 2022, he has maintained a solo practice limited to representing municipalities. He is the co-editor, with C. Christine Fillmore, of four volumes on municipal law (original author Peter Loughlin) in the Lexis/Nexis New Hampshire Practice Series, and has written many articles and given many presentations on the Right-to-Know Law, land use regulation, and other municipal law topics. Cordell graduated from Princeton University in 1981 and Boston University School of Law in 1984. He has served as a selectman and planning board member in the Town of Henniker and is currently the town moderator.
