Hon. David J. Burns was appointed to the bench in 2017 and currently sits on the 9th Circuit Family Division in Milford, NH. Prior to his judicial appointment, he served as a prosecutor for the Division of Children, Youth and Families in its Manchester District Office. Before joining DCYF, Judge Burns practiced family law for more than 20 years, and volunteered through the Pro Bono Program to represent clients in family law matters. He earned his J.D. from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law in 1991.

Elyse McKay is the Assistant Coordinator of 603 Legal Aid’s DOVE Project. She began working for the Pro Bono Program (formerly of the New Hampshire Bar Association) in January 2021. Elyse earned her B.A. from Boston University in 2013 and began her career as a litigation paralegal in New York City at Cleary Gottlieb, where she was privileged to work on a pro bono case seeking damages for sexual abuse perpetrated by the staff at Rikers Island’s Rose M. Singer Center. This work, for which she and her team were awarded a 2016 Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Publico award, is what spurred her decision to change career trajectories to victim advocacy. Prior to joining Pro Bono, Elyse served nearly 4 years as a AmeriCorps Victim Advocate and REACH at YWCA New Hampshire’s Court-Focused advocate, where she worked directly with survivors in and out of courtrooms and coordinated with attorneys and legal agencies, court staff, and community partners to support them.

Lyndsay Robinson is an attorney with Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. Her practice consists of general civil litigation with a focus on family law, estate planning, probate administration, and immigration. Lyndsay is committed to serving families in New Hampshire with compassion. She graduated from Saint Anselm College with a Bachelor of Arts in politics and a minor in Russian area studies. Lyndsay earned her JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law as a Daniel Webster Scholar. In addition to participating in the honors program, she served as a Warren B. Rudman Summer Fellow and an American Bar Association Janet B. Steiger Fellow. Lyndsay is actively involved with the New Hampshire Pro Bono DOVE Program actively representing victims of domestic violence and stalking. She is the Chair of the NHBA’s Gender Equality Committee and Family Law Section. Lyndsay was a member of the 2021-2022 New Hampshire Bar Association’s Leadership Academy. In addition, she is a member of the New Hampshire Collaborative Law Alliance. Lyndsay is a proponent of giving back to the community that has given her so much. She teaches Legal Writing & Analysis to first year law students at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. She serves as a member of Saint Anselm College Alumni Council, Treasurer of New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association Board of Directors, and Advocacy Committee Member for the United Way of Greater Nashua. Lyndsay was awarded the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Rising Star Award in 2020 and she was awarded “Best Lawyer” in Greater Nashua by the Nashua Telegraph in 2020.

Tina Schumacher is the Trauma Informed Training Specialist at Voices Against Violence, a crisis center in Plymouth, NH. She has a background in education and crisis intervention, supporting victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, human trafficking, bullying and harassment at Voices for 13 years. She provides prevention programs for k-12 through higher education and best practice response trainings for school faculty, social service agencies, law enforcement, and NH LNA’s, attorneys and Circuit Court judges on Trauma Informed Support, The Dynamics of Domestic & Sexual Violence, Stalking, Vicarious Trauma and Self-Care, Legal Support and Collaboration, Home Visit Safety, Policy & Support for LGBTIQ Students and the Lethality Assessment Program.

Angelika Wilkerson-Martin is a Domestic Violence Specialist Staff Attorney at 603 Legal Aid where she provides advice and counsel and direct representation to clients with protective order and family law matters. Since graduating from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2017 she has primarily focused her legal practice on serving survivors of domestic violence and stalking. In her previous position as the Assistant Coordinator of the DOVE Project, she presented numerous regional trainings throughout the State on stalking laws and domestic violence. Angelika was recently appointed to the Governor’s Commission on Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking.
